Becoming A Relayer Partner
The following section details the process for becoming a relayer partner.
Current Relaying Partners:
- ChainSafe Systems
- Bware Labs
- Phala Network
- Astar Network (Coming soon!)
How To Become A Relaying Partner
Sygma currently utilizes a permissioned approach to integrate new relaying partners, ensuring each entity is meticulously chosen and onboarded by our team. For detailed insights into relayer deployment, we invite you to explore our related documentation. As we progress towards decentralization and refine our economic security models, the pathway to becoming a relayer partner will evolve to be increasingly permissionless, facilitating trustless participation within the relaying network.
Acceptance Criteria
Credible entities that wish to participate as a relayer on the Sygma relaying network must meet the following criteria:
- Operate commercial validator services
- Have proven experience in operating protocol infrastructure for high-security applications
- Are value-aligned and have a vested interest in the success of Sygma (e.g. blockchain networks and projects that have integrated with Sygma to provide value to their users)
- Must be able to trial run a minimum period of 2 weeks while operating as a relayer on the Sygma testnet
- Must listen (participate) on all networks that Sygma is part of
- Must operate on all active mainnet Sygma token routes
- Ability & commitment to fulfill service level agreements (SLA) for operating Sygma's relayers as well as meet expectations on service KPI's
New relaying partners will continue to be added over the next months. If you have experience running validators and/or relayers in a professional environment and want to support the decentralization of the Sygma network, please contact us on Discord or fill out this form.
